Description
The 480LM is an alternate mounting kit that is used when there is not enough space for Wall Mounted Garage Door Openers to connect directly on to the torsion bar. This is especially useful when side room clearance is an issue.
The 480LM accessory adds a sprocket to the torsion bar and a sprocket to the side of the opener, then runs a chain between the two sprockets.
From the center line of the torsion rod to the center line of the output shaft of the Wall Mounted Garage Door Opener, the alternate mounting kit will drop the system 5.9"
With the 480LM you can still mount the opener on the left or right of the garage door.
