The 14 gauge hinge is used in residential as well as commercial garage doors. These Heavy Duty hinges are durable and designed for standard rollers, they come numbered #1-#5, Usually #1 hinges are assigned to the center hinges on the garage doors, and #2 usually between door segment 1 and 2, and the higher the segment the hinge number will go up accordingly depending on Door specifications. Refer to your door model, or manual for the door you have to see specific manufacturer notes to ensure proper hinges are installed.
If you have the hinge you want to replace, find the number stamped into the hinge for replacing correct #. If it is no longer visible or legible the size can be determined by measuring the distance from the base of the hinge when laying down flat to the middle of the top circle.
