Our 14-gauge heavy-duty garage door hinges are designed for long-lasting strength and smooth, reliable operation. Made from galvanized steel, they offer increased durability and corrosion resistance for both residential and commercial overhead doors.
These hinges provide a stronger alternative to standard-duty hardware and are ideal for high-use or heavier garage doors.
Hinge Numbers (#1–#6)
Each hinge is numbered to indicate its position on a sectional garage door:
-
#1 – Center hinges between panels
-
#2–#3 – Connect lower and upper door sections
-
#4–#6 – Used on taller or custom doors
When replacing a hinge, match the number stamped on your existing hinge. If the number is not visible, measure from the hinge base to the center of the top roller hole and confirm with your door manufacturer’s specifications.
