High Lift Garage Door Track Systems

Designed for garages with extra space above the door opening where additional vertical clearance is desired.

A high-lift garage door travels farther vertically up the wall before turning into the horizontal track. This keeps more of the door closer to the ceiling and can provide additional overhead clearance for vehicle lifts, workshops, and garages with tall ceilings.

High Lift vs. Standard Lift: Standard lift turns the door toward the ceiling shortly above the opening. High lift adds vertical track so the door travels higher before making that turn.

Special Hardware Required: Converting a standard-lift door to high lift generally requires high-lift drums, longer cables, additional vertical track, and properly sized torsion springs. Standard-lift drums should not be reused for a high-lift conversion.

Compatibility: High-lift components must be matched to the door height, door weight, amount of high lift, track layout, cable drums, cables, and torsion springs.
