What Does 54HL Mean?
The 54HL designation refers to a drum designed for up to approximately 54 inches of high lift. High-lift doors travel vertically above the opening before the track curves toward the rear of the building, requiring a different cable-groove profile than a standard-lift drum.

The D400-54HL is designed for compatible high-lift track configurations. It should not be substituted for a D400-96, D400-144, vertical-lift drum, or another drum profile simply because the shaft diameter matches.
