The Clopay 0620141 Bottom Seal Astragal installs along the bottom edge of a compatible sectional garage door to help seal the space between the door and the garage floor.
Its wide 4-1/2-inch profile forms a flexible U shape beneath the door, allowing the seal to compress against uneven concrete, minor floor variations, and larger gaps. It helps reduce the entry of water, drafts, dirt, leaves, insects, and outside light while supporting a cleaner and more comfortable garage.
Wider 4.5" Profile Provides additional material to help close larger gaps and conform to uneven garage floors.
Dual T-End Design Two T-shaped edges slide into the channels of a compatible Clopay bottom retainer.

Basic Installation
- Disconnect the garage door opener and secure the door against movement.
- Remove the existing seal from the bottom retainer.
- Clean dirt, rust, and old residue from both retainer channels.
- Apply a small amount of soapy water to the channels or T-shaped seal edges.
- Fold the seal into a U shape and slide both T ends into the retainer channels.
- Pull the seal evenly across the full width of the door.
- Leave a small amount of extra material at each end before trimming.
- Close the door and confirm that the seal contacts the floor evenly without folding or binding.
Installation Tip: The seal can create significant friction while being pulled through the retainer. A small amount of diluted dish soap or soapy water can help it slide through the channels. Avoid petroleum-based lubricants, which may damage some weather-seal materials.
Measure the Retainer, Not Only the Old Seal: Old seals can shrink, stretch, or become distorted. Confirm that the existing bottom retainer has two compatible channels and compare the T-end shape and size before ordering.
Not a Universal Bottom Seal: Part 0620141 is designed for a compatible dual-channel Clopay-style retainer. It will not fit single-channel retainers, bead-style retainers, round bulb channels, nail-on wood-door seals, or retainers using a different T-end size.
