The Wall-Mounted Chain Hoist provides a dependable manual operating system for compatible commercial and industrial overhead doors. Its wall-mounted drive assembly connects to the garage door shaft through a sprocket and roller-chain system.
A 4:1 gear-reduction ratio reduces the effort required to operate larger or heavier doors while providing greater control during opening and closing. The included hand chain allows the operator to raise or lower the door from floor level without directly turning the torsion shaft.

Installation Overview
The drive assembly mounts to a structurally suitable wall beside the garage door. The supplied sprocket installs on the keyed door shaft, and the roller chain connects the shaft sprocket to the hoist drive sprocket.
The hand chain is then threaded through the hoist and adjusted so the bottom of the chain loop hangs approximately one foot above the floor. The chain keeper mounts nearby to hold the chain safely away from the door opening.
