Clopay Commercial Center Stile – 18-Gauge Galvanized Steel, 18"
Genuine Clopay steel reinforcement stile designed for compatible 18-inch commercial garage door sections.
The Clopay 0321590 Commercial Center Stile installs vertically on the inside of a compatible sectional garage door panel. It reinforces the center portion of the section and provides a structural mounting area for hinges, struts, operator brackets, and other approved door hardware.
Manufactured from approximately 0.049-inch-thick galvanized steel, this heavy-duty center stile is designed for compatible 18-inch-high commercial door sections. The galvanized finish helps protect the steel from corrosion in garages, warehouses, service facilities, and other demanding environments.
Heavy-Duty Reinforcement Strengthens the center of a compatible commercial garage door section and helps reduce panel flexing.
18-Gauge Steel Approximately 0.049-inch-thick steel provides durable support for demanding commercial applications.
Galvanized Finish Zinc-coated steel helps resist rust and corrosion in humid or high-use environments.

Thickness Clarification: The “.049” in the manufacturer description refers to the approximate steel thickness of 0.049 inch. It does not mean the center stile is 0.49 inch thick.
18-Inch Section Application: The 18-inch designation refers to the intended garage door section height. Confirm the actual height of the individual panel rather than measuring the entire assembled garage door.
Installation Position
The stile is installed vertically against the interior face of the door section and must align with the original center-stile location and adjoining hardware. Fasteners should pass through approved structural mounting points rather than only through the thin door skin.
Exact Profile Must Match: Center stiles can vary in width, depth, flange shape, hole pattern, hinge preparation, and door-model compatibility. Matching only the section height and steel gauge does not guarantee proper fit.
Compatibility Notice
Verify the Clopay door model, section height, section thickness, stile profile, overall stile width, flange depth, mounting-hole pattern, center-hinge location, strut arrangement, operator-bracket location, and original part number before ordering. This component is not a universal replacement for every commercial garage door.
Hardware Not Included: Hinges, operator reinforcement brackets, struts, screws, rivets, bolts, nuts, and other installation hardware are sold separately unless specifically stated.
Safety Warning: Commercial garage door sections are heavy and may move unexpectedly. Secure the door before removing hinges, stiles, struts, or related hardware. Do not loosen springs, lifting cables, cable drums, bottom brackets, or other components under tension. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
