Specialized low-headroom hardware kit designed for compatible 8-foot-high sectional garage doors with the torsion springs mounted at the rear of the horizontal tracks.
The Clopay 4119032 Low-Headroom Rear-Mount Kit is designed for garage door installations where there is not enough clearance above the opening for a conventional front-mounted torsion assembly.
In this configuration, the torsion shaft and springs are moved to the rear of the horizontal tracks. This leaves more usable space directly above the door opening while maintaining the counterbalance system needed for proper door operation.
Rear-Mounted Springs Positions the torsion spring assembly behind the horizontal tracks instead of above the door opening.
