The Clopay Gold F EZ-Set torsion spring fits compatible Clopay, Ideal Door, and Holmes residential garage doors using the EZ-Set winding system. It features .177-inch wire, a 1-3/4-inch inside diameter, and a 36-inch gapped coil length.

Wind Direction: Stand inside the garage and look toward the driveway. The left-wound spring installs on the left side, and the right-wound spring installs on the right side. Match the original part number and installation side.
Compatibility: Do not select by color alone. Confirm the .177" wire size, 1-3/4" inside diameter, 36" gapped length, wind direction, spring quantity, original part number, and existing EZ-Set hardware before ordering.
EZ-Set Systems Only: This specially gapped spring is designed for the Clopay EZ-Set winding system. Do not substitute a conventional tightly wound torsion spring or use standard winding cones and bars.
