Left & Right Pair: The package includes the brackets required for both lower corners of the door. Left and right are determined while standing inside the building and looking outward through the door opening.
Milford-Style Cable Pin: The drilled pin provides an attachment point for the lifting cable using a compatible clevis or cable fitting and retaining pin. Confirm the existing cable-end design before installation.
Hardware Contents: Some BB-6 sets are supplied with clevis pins and cotter pins, but Service Spring’s public listing does not provide a complete itemized hardware list. Rollers, lifting cables, fasteners, cable fittings, and additional mounting hardware should be considered separate unless specifically confirmed with the order.
Compatibility Notice
Verify the existing BB-6 bracket profile, overall height, width, side-flange depth, bottom-flange depth, mounting-hole pattern, track size, roller-stem diameter, cable-end design, door thickness, section construction, and available clearance before ordering. Matching only the BB-6 name does not guarantee compatibility with every commercial door.
Not an Outside-Hookup Bracket: Standard BB-6 brackets and outside-hookup BB-6 brackets may have different flange depths, cable positions, dimensions, and mounting arrangements. Compare the original bracket carefully before ordering.
Extreme-Tension Safety Warning: Commercial garage door lifting cables and bottom brackets remain under extreme spring tension, even when the door is open. Never loosen, remove, cut, or adjust a bottom bracket while the spring or cable system is under tension. Sudden cable release can cause severe injury, death, or major property damage. Replacement must be performed by a qualified commercial garage door technician.
