Recommended Application Points
Apply a light coating to approved hinge pivots, steel roller bearings and stems, torsion spring coils, accessible extension spring coils, bearings, locks, and latch mechanisms.
Application:
Close the door, disconnect the opener, clean the approved application points, and apply sparingly. Wipe away excess lubricant before operating the door.
Keep Tracks Dry:
Do not spray the garage door tracks or nylon roller wheels. Lubricate only accessible metal bearings or roller stems when appropriate.
Maintenance Product:
Lubrication may reduce noise from dry hardware, but it will not repair broken springs, worn rollers, damaged bearings, bent tracks, frayed cables, or an unbalanced door.
