The Operator Reinforcement Bracket installs vertically along the center of a compatible garage door’s top section. It creates a stronger and more stable mounting point for the garage door opener arm than attaching the opener directly to the thin door skin.
By spreading the opener’s pulling and pushing forces across a larger portion of the top section, this heavy-duty bracket helps reduce flexing, cracking, tearing, and distortion around the opener connection. It is designed specifically for compatible garage doors with a 24-inch-high top section.

Door Construction Requirement: This bracket must be installed over a compatible center stile or at the manufacturer-provided prepunched hinge locations in the center of the top section. Do not attach the bracket only to the thin exterior or interior door skin.
