LiftMaster 850LM Security+ 2.0 Universal 3-Channel Receiver
Tri-band universal receiver for compatible commercial door operators, gate operators, and multi-access control applications.
The LiftMaster 850LM Universal Receiver provides a convenient way to add Security+ 2.0 wireless access to compatible gate and commercial door operators. Its three independent channels can control up to three separate operators from one compact receiver.
The receiver can also be configured with a compatible three-button remote to provide dedicated OPEN, CLOSE, and STOP control for a single commercial door operator. Tri-band operation across 310, 315, and 390 MHz helps reduce radio-frequency interference while supporting compatible LiftMaster Security+ 2.0 accessories.
Three Independent Channels
Control as many as three compatible gates or commercial door operators from one receiver.
Tri-Band Communication
Operates on 310, 315, and 390 MHz frequencies to help provide reliable wireless performance.
Security+ 2.0 Encryption
Uses encrypted rolling-code communication with compatible LiftMaster remote controls and keypads.

Three-Operator Configuration
Each receiver channel can be connected to a separate compatible operator. This allows one 850LM receiver to control as many as three gates, commercial overhead doors, rolling doors, or other supported access points.
Open, Close & Stop Configuration
The three channels may instead be wired to one compatible commercial door operator. A compatible three-button remote can then be programmed so that one button opens the door, one closes it, and one stops door travel.
Not Compatible with myQ-Enabled Openers: The LiftMaster 850LM is not intended for myQ-enabled garage door openers or myQ devices. Do not purchase this receiver solely to add myQ, Wi-Fi, smartphone control, monitoring, alerts, or scheduling.
Power Supply Not Included: The receiver may be powered by a compatible operator when the operator provides the required voltage. Otherwise, a LiftMaster 85LM plug-in transformer or 95LM wired transformer is required and sold separately.
Indoor Receiver: The 850LM housing is not the weather-resistant version. Install it inside a protected operator enclosure or another suitable dry location. For exposed outdoor installations, use a properly rated receiver such as the LiftMaster 860LM.
Antenna Placement: Keep the antenna straight and away from metal surfaces whenever possible. The antenna may be mounted remotely using a compatible coaxial extension kit when the operator enclosure or nearby metal reduces reception range.
Compatibility Notice
Verify the gate or commercial door operator model, control-terminal layout, available voltage, relay requirements, radio accessories, safety-device configuration, mounting environment, and desired channel operation before ordering. The term “universal” refers to compatible dry-contact operator applications and does not mean the receiver works with every residential opener or access-control system.
Safety Warning: Disconnect power before installing or wiring the receiver. Gates and commercial doors must have all required monitored entrapment-protection and reversing devices installed and operating correctly. When used with a commercial door operator, a properly installed reversing edge may be required. Installation should be completed by a qualified gate or commercial door technician.
