The Clopay SBB-1 Safe-T-Bracket Set installs at the lower left and right corners of a compatible residential sectional garage door. Each bracket provides the attachment point for the lifting cable while supporting the bottom garage door roller.
Unlike a conventional bottom fixture, the patented Safe-T-Bracket design helps prevent accidental removal while the lifting cable remains under spring tension. The package includes both side-specific brackets required for one compatible garage door.

How to Identify Left and Right: Stand inside the garage and face outward toward the driveway. The bracket on your left is the left-hand bracket, and the bracket on your right is the right-hand bracket.
Safe-T-Bracket Design
The SBB-1 incorporates a safety-oriented attachment arrangement intended to reduce the risk of accidentally removing the main bottom fixture while the lifting cable is under spring tension. This feature does not make the bracket safe for untrained removal or service.
Standard-Lift Application: Part 1033071 is the standard SBB-1 bracket pair. It should not be confused with part 1033072, which is the SBB-1 low-headroom bracket configuration.
Steel Door Application: This bracket set is listed for compatible residential steel garage doors. It may not fit wood doors, commercial sections, specialty low-headroom systems, or doors using a different bottom-fixture profile.
Additional Components: Bottom rollers, lifting cables, cable fittings, fasteners, hinges, and other door hardware are sold separately unless specifically included by the seller.
